Viikonloppuumme mahtui kaikenlaista kivaa. Ensinnäkin sää oli aivan mahtava, plussaa noin 20 astetta ja aurinko paistoi. Ei ehkä ihan tyypillisin lokakuun alun ilma. Kaupungissamme järjestettiin syysmarkkinat ja sinne suuntasimme perjantaina.Our weekend was full of all kinds of fun. First of all the weather was great, about 20 celsius plus degrees and sun was shining. Not necessarily the typical October weather. We had a fall time fair in our city and there we went on Friday.
Tähän englantilaista makeaa myyvään kojuun törmäsin jo Turussa aiemmin syksyllä. Tällä kertaa kuitenkin skippasin nuo herkut, sillä niin ihanilta kuin nämä kaikki makeiset näyttävätkin, ne eivät olleet ihan meidän makuumme.I saw this english goodies selling stand for the first time when in Turku earlier this fall. This time I skipped those goodies, since no matter how yummy they look like, they weren't actually our favorites.
Ongintaa ja narunvetoakin harrastettiin. Markkinoilla oli päivällä kiva tunnelma, mutta illan tullen väki vähän villiintyi ja virkavallallakin piti lehtiotsikoiden mukaan kiirusta :-(
We also did some fishing and string pulling. The atmosphere was nice during the day, but during evening hours the crowd got a bit wild and according to the latest newspaper titles police got quite busy :-(
