An old American flag is a found from yard sale in Dallas downtown about ten years ago. Long haired guy sold it to me for 10 dollars and told me that is made in early 50s. And he also mentioned something that it doesn't have all the stars on it, since there were not that many states at that time. I cannot remember how many states he told me there then was, but I figured that this beautiful flag might be worth spending that 10 bugs.
The flag has seen some time and there are some very light stains in the white stripes. But otherwise it is in very good shape considering it's age.
Saapa nähdä, miten tuo sessio sujuu ;-) Mutta sinulle toivotan oikein mukavaa alkavaa viikonloppua.
The flag fabric is strong cotton, like are all the stars and stripes. I think this is a beautiful item and also a nice memory from the years in U.S. I just hope I will figure out a place to put this. It is quite large, and will cover almost one wall if I would like to hang this somewhere.
This flag will travel with me this weekend, since I will be photographing one school project where I will probably use this. Will see, how that goes ;-) But for you I want to wish a nice weekend. So lovely that is so snowy outside and is actually snowing right now as well.
