Here are some photos of our master bedroom. It opens behind milk glass doors from the other side of our house. Our old king size bed fit barely to our new bedroom. So yes, also that room is a bit smaller than in our previous house. But I am not complaining.

Yhdysvalloista minulle jäi hassu tapa kasata sänky täyteen koristetyynyjä. Mutta minkäs sille mahdan, kun ne näyttävät niin kivoilta? Huomasin tänäänkin hipelöiväni kivoja koristetyynyjä läheisen ostoskeskuksen sisustusliikkeessä, jonne eksyin hammaslääkärireissun jälkeen. Yksi asia, josta pidän ihan mahdottomasti tässä pienessä uudessa kotikaupungissani on se, että täällä kaikki palvelut (niin tarpeelliset kuin ne vähän tarpeettomammatkin, kuten sisustuskaupat... gulp) löytyvät tosi läheltä.
From the years in the U.S. I was left with this funny habit of piling a lot of pillows on the top of our bed. But really, what can I say, they just look so nice, you know. And suprisingly just today I found myself looking at some nice decorative pillows when ending up visiting a local mall and one nice decoration boutique after my dentist visit. One thing I really enjoy about living in a small city like this is the fact that everything is so close to you.

Ja tällaisen koristehärpätyksenkin päädyin tuomaan Yhdysvalloista mukanani. Tarkoituksena oli laittaa se tuon vanhan lampun ylle katon rajaan. Vaan onkohan jo vähän liikaa? Vanha lamppukaunokainen kun on kuitenkin pääosassa, enkä halua, että tämä koristeboordi vai mikä lie nyt onkaan nimeltään vie liikaa huomiota vanhalta kaunokaiselta.Viikonloppuna tapaamme muutamia ystäviä ihan pienimuotoisten tupareiden merkeissä. And this sort of decorative lamp base I also brought with me from the U.S. I was planning to assemble it to the base of this old ceiling lamp. But now I find myself thinking if it is too much? The old beauty being the main attraction I feel like this base might make it too busy. And I just want the old beauty to be the main focal point.
