We travelled to Gdansk in July with our friends and stayed in the heart of Old Town in a very nice apartment hotel called Patio Apartments. Not a bad idea to stay at an apartment where you have your own kitchen and grocery stores behind the corner. I myself felt it to be only a plus that we had a chance to make our own coffee in the morning and eat our croissants and yoghurts in our own kithcen. Patio Apartments has eight apartments (more apartments coming up in the future) available at the moment and you can choose from standard or superior Design apartment to stay in.
The rates vary a little through seasons but e.g. during fall time you may get a Superior apartment for around 100 e/night and the standard apartment for a little less.

Olimme Gdanskissa heinäkuun loppupuolella ystävien kanssa matkalla ja yövyimme aivan vanhan kaupungin sydämessä viihtyisässä huoneistohotellissa nimeltään Patio Apartments. Ei mikään hullumpi vaihtoehto yöpyä hotellin sijaan huoneistohotellissa, sillä kaikissa huoneistoissa on omat keittiönsä ja pieniä ruokauppojakin ihan nurkan takana. Itse ainakin koin helpoksi sen, että saimme vapaasti keitellä aamulla aamukahvit ja maiskutella ne croissantit ja jogurtit omassa keittiössä. Huoneistohotellilla on tällä hetkellä kahdeksan huoneistoa (lisää huoneistoja rakentumassa lähivuosina), joista kolme perustason ja viisi superior-tason huoneistoa.
Hinnat vaihtelevat hiukan vuodenajasta riippuen, mutta näin syyskauden jo kohta alkaessa Superior-luokan huoneiston voi saada käyttöönsä noin 100e/yö ja perustason huoneisto hiukan edullisemmin.
This apartment in the photos is called Paul Radtke and it is located in Old Town close to all main attractions in Gdansk. Paul Radtke apartment has a comfortable living and dining area, kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom.
Tämä kuvasarjan ensimmäinen huoneisto on Paul Paul Radtke-huoneisto ja se sijaitsee aivan vanhan kaupungin sydämessä lähellä kaikkia Gdanskin päänähtävyyksiä. Paul Radtke huoneistossa on viihtyisä olohuone, ruokailutila, keittiö, makuuhuone ja kylpytilat.
I really liked the style and decor of this apartment and was very pleased to stay here with my husband. The apartment was on the 2nd floor but you couldn't really hear any noise from the street unless you had the windows open.
Pidin tosi paljon tämän huoneiston tyylistä ja viihdyimme mieheni kanssa kyllä erittäin hyvin tässä huoneistossa. Huoneisto oli toisessa kerroksessa, mutta kadulta ei juuri kuulunut ääniä, jollei sitten ikkuna sattunut olemaan auki.
The Superior Design apartments have a bit more elegant design than the standard rooms and you could see it everywhere when staying at Paul Radtke especially. Even the kitchen flooring made me sigh :-)
Superior-tason huoneistoissa tyyli on hiukan perustason huoneistoja elegantimpi ja sen voi aistia kyllä kaikkialla Paul Radtke huoneistossa majoittuessaan. Jopa keittiön lattia sai minut huokailemaan :-)

This apartment is called Mariacka. This particular apartment comes with a bedroom, and combined living and dining area/kitchen nook and a small bathroom.
Tämä huoneisto on nimeltään Mariacka. Huoneistossa on makuuhuone sekä yhdistetty olohuone, ruokailutila/keittiönurkkaus sekä pieni kylpyhuone.
This apartment has a very nice view with all the beautiful old buildings facing the building where this apartment is located.
And on the street behind the windows are also nice restaurants and amber shops.

This apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the building which you may want to know when you book this apartment.
Tämä huoneisto sijaitsee kolmannessa kerroksessa ja tässä talossa ei ole hissiä, mikä kannattaa ottaa huomioon.
Then we also stayed at this Superior Design apartment called Strakowski, which is located at the opposite side of the street from Mariacka apartment.
Yövyimme myös tässä Superior-tason Strakowski-huoneistossa, joka sijaitsee kadun toisella puolen Mariackasta.
This apartment had a bedroom and combined kitchen/dining nook plus a living area.
Tässä huoneistossa oli erillinen makuuhuone sekä yhdistetty eittiön/ruokailunurkkaus sekä valoisa olohuone.
The bedroom was at the other side of the apartment and you can combine those two beds into one if you wish.
Makuuhuone oli huoneiston toisessa päädyssä ja sängyt sai erikseen tai yhteen, miten vain haluaa.
We really enjoyed our stay at Patio Apartments. All the apartments are very clean, decorated with style and also very spacious compared to hotel rooms. And the location is just superb!
