Meillä tykätään (monen muun ohella) intialaisesta ruoasta ja tänään tein hiukan raikasta raitaa intialaisesta kaupasta ostamieni Chapati-leipien seuraksi. Ohje tuossa alhaalla vielä englanniksi. Tätä on tosi helppo valmistaa.We like Indian food (among with many others) and today I made some simple Raita to accompany Chapati-bread I bought from a Indian grocery store. This recipe is very easy.
Raita sauce:
1 pkg greek yogurt (2 cups/475ml)
handful of chopped cilantro
handful of chopped mint
handful of chopped green onion
1 green chile pepper (small) chopped and seeded
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
some water
(chopped cucumber)
Chop fresh cilantro (coriander), mint and green onion. Chop the green chili, take of the seeds. Mix the herbs and chili into the yogurt. Add sugar and salt. Add some water to make the raita more liquid. You can also add some chopped cucumber, if you like. Serve cold and dip with naan or indian bread. You can also dip this with cucumber or carrots.
