Joululomalla sain todistaa luonnon omaa jäätaidetta. Jyväskylän satamassa myrskyssä kyytiä saaneet jääpalat muodostivat upeita abstrakteja muodostelmia.During our Chrismas holidays I was able to witness nature's own ice art. At the Jyväskylä harbour those ice particles moved by the storm made these gorgeous abstract formations.
Aurinko oli juuri laskemaisillaan, kun otin nämä kuvat ja viimeiset auringonsäteet värjäsivät sinertävän kylmät jäät upeilla keltaisen ja kullan sävyillään.The sun was just about to set down when I took these photos and the last rays of sun coloured the blue cold ice with it's beautiful yellow and gold tones.
Luonnon omaa taidetta, jota ei osaa aina edes noteerata. Itsekin huomasin nämä jäämuodostelmat puolivahingossa satamassa kävellessäni. Onneksi sattui olemaan kamera mukana, sillä kuvia kertyi aikamoinen määrä ja vaikka olin aivan kylmästä kankeana, en meinannut malttaa lopettaa.P.S. Meillä on koulussa pieni tehtävä, jossa on aiheena pelkistetyt värit. Aihetta voi lähestyä omalla valitsemallaan tavalla, myös abstraktina kuvana tai kuvasarjana. Tässä mietin, että nämäkin kuvat voisivat toimia hyvin tuossa tehtävässä.
Nature's own art, which we don't even notice at times. I happened to spot these ice formations by accident when walking at the harbour. Luckily I had my camera with me, since I took a lot of photos and even though I was all frozen, I just couldn't stop.
P.S. We have an assignment that is about reduced colours. One can approach this subject with any chosen way, also using abstract photo or photo series. I think I am going to use these photos in that project.
