We have two rooms, bathroom and a little hall upstairs. The hall has also a tiny bit of Christmas feel to it.
Muistat ehkä tuunaamani mustan lipaston, jonka ostin garage salesta kolmella dollarilla. Se löysi paikkansa yläkerran aulasta. Lipaston päällä oleva joulupukki osui silmiini monta vuotta sitten La Jollassa, kalifornialaisessa pikkukaupungissa, aivan San Diegon kupeessa ja siitä lähtien se on toivottanut joulua kodissamme, nyt täällä Suomessa.
You may remember the chest of drawers I found from a garage sale for three dollars, and then repainted and rifinished it. The Santa on the roof top is a found that I bought years ago from La Jolla, a charming little place close to San Diego. From that day on it has brought Christmas spirit to our home.Tämä vanha kulunut nallekin on tainnut esiintyä blogissani aiemmin. Se vaan ihastutti minut eräällä teksasilaisella pihakirpparilla ja lähti matkaani samantien. Rassukalla on rinnassa pieni reikäkin, mutta se vain joteskin lisää tämän nallukan hellyttävyyttä.
This old and worn teddy bear has also been here in my blog before. It just made my heart melt in one of those many Texas garage sales and went with me. That poor little thing even has a little hole in his chest, but I feel it just makes him more adorable.
Marilyn and James were planning to move to my office, but ended up here on the hallway wall. The door leads to my office.
In my Christmas Blog I'm talking about the meaning of Christmas Sauna. Go check it out! Now I'm going to start wrapping the gifts for my daughter's Kindergarten teachers (we have a Christmas party at her daycare center today) and will also run to the closest post office to mail the rest of the Christmas cars and presents. Have a nice Wednesday!
