Taustalla näkyvä hauska punainen matto on kirpparilta ja maksoi euron.
We have some red also in our family room. Those red and black/white pillows came with me from my last Ikea trip. Those ctrl pillows are something my husband doesn't really like. He tells me that he can see ctrl-characters enough at his work and wouldn't necessarily want to see them when sitting at home on a comfy sofa. Ok, but still those pillows remain, at least for now...
A funny red rug you can see in the background is from a flea market and cost 1 euro.
We burn a lot of candles in our home and today they changed into white ones. Buddha and runner are souveniers that my husband brought from India. Can you imagine what kind of achievement it is for a husband to run around a busy indian city and try to find some souveniers for his family during the busy work week abroad. But he did it good, I wished for a buddha statue and I think it's just perfect. India got a lot of compliments from him. A place where I he said I should also see and immortalize with my camera... ;-) Anytime, I said to that!
Red hanging decorations are also souvenirs my husband brought from China. Matrjosjkas are something I have collected for long. Most of them are finds from flea markets, couple of them are from Tallinn and there are couple that are brought from U.S. Now I have started to slow down collecting these, since I feel I already have a pretty nice collection. But if I see an unique matrosjka, I may still fall for it... ;-)
Punaisella kukkapöydällä oleva vehka saa pian vaihtua johonkin jouluisempaan kasviin. Katsokaa nyt tuota korvaakin ;-)That flower on a red flower pedestal will soon change into something more christmas like plant. That dog under the pedestal is from an auction and I guess it is made by some known artist, but cannot remember the name. And it doesn't even matter, since I bid it just because it had a nice spirit. I think that dog is just so expressive. Just look at that flappy ear ;-)
