I bet our Denmark photos are already coming out of your eyes and ears, so something else for a change ;-) We travelled to my parents place during our skiing break last week. First it looked like we had to skip skiing, since the weather was so warm, but then it turned out good. We were able to have a litttle skiing trip. Or well... dad and little missy were skiing and I walked behind, camera in my hand and taking shots them having fun. These two skied over four kilometers and our little one, who before last winter didn't really know anything about this sport, skied so enthusiastically and seemed to enjoy every minute of it. That was nice to watch ;-)

Dad had these old Karhu Kilpa wood skis, which we have herited. But I noticed that it was difficult for him to use them. He thought they were too old and precious to be used anymore. Well I partly agree, but if used right no harm will be done and it is nice to be still able to use them. It is a shame we don't have those old ski pods anymore.

Our wild child skied downhill without any fear. At times she wobbled and almost fell, but then she went back up again and did it alla again. I was so proud. Me at the same age with skis... Was hardly able to go downhill.
Midst of skiing I went on my own way for a while and found some tiny alder catkins. I collected a nice little bouquet of them and now they decorate our home.

Got some red cheeks and happy spirit from being outdoors. Little smack after the skiing and that evening someone fell asleep so easily! (on her cheek she has a temporary elephant tattoo that I brought her from movies when we went to see Härmä with daddy a day before)
