Lovely lilacs

I love all the summer flowers and also all the trees that start to
bloom here in Finland early June like lilacs.

Rakastan kaikkia kesäkukkia ja puita, jotka alkavat kukkimaan täällä
Suomessa aikaisin kesäkuussa, kuten syreenit.

I put some lilacs in a porcelain jug and added some branches of
hydrangea arborescens to add some more green color to that bouquet.

Laitoin syreenin oksia vaaleansiniseen kannuun ja lisäsin joukkoon
vielä hiukan pallohortensian oksia tuomaan lisää
vihreää väriä asetelmaan.

Muutamia muita kauniita kesäasetelma-ideoita voit kurkata

Kaunista!

P.S. Any suggestions of a good Finnish country life-style magazine? Even though I cannot read to words, a photo is worth 1000 words.

Hi Linda and thanks for your comment. Hope you enjoy your vacation here in Finland. So you are coming in two weeks? So while you are here I will be travelling to your neighbouring country Canada ;-)

If you are looking for a nice finnish country lifestyle magazine I would recommend e.g. Maalla lehti. Then also one swedish magazine called Lantliv might interest you :-)

Have a nice day!

You're welcome Linda. The other magazine is actually called just Maalla magazine, for some reason I also wrote lehti which just means magazine in finnish ;-)

We'll travel to Toronto and are very excited about our trip to Canada. Planning to go see Niagara Falls too. If you are familiar with Toronto area all kind of tips are welcome :-)

Toronto has a very tall tower, and you might want to go up in the elevator. The longest street in the world is also there. When you go to Niagara Falls, I think you would enjoy a small town called Niagara on the Lake, which is on your way from Toronto to the falls. Be sure to see the falls at night. It is so pretty. I look forward to hearing all about your trip.
