Our daughter is turning eleven next spring and has started to get more and more interested about decorating her room. She can change the room layout in minutes moving furniture around and adding new things or leaving some out.
She also wants to have new wallpaper in her room since she feels that
her room looks a bit dull with all the walls being so light colored.
So we are thinking about changing the wallpaper even though we are still negotiating
what color and pattern the wallpaper could have... :-)
Tyttäremme täyttää keväällä yksitoista ja hän on alkanut kiinnostumaan enenevässä määrin huoneensa sisustamisesta. Hän saattaa muuttaa huoneensa ilmettä minuuteissa siirtämällä huonekaluja paikasta toiseen ja lisäämällä tai poistamalla jotain esineitä huoneestaan.
Hän haluaisi myös tapetoida huoneensa uudelleen, sillä hänestä
huone on vähän tylsännäköinen, kun kaikki seinäpinnat ovat niin vaaleita.
Eli tapetinvaihto on suunnitteilla, vaikkakin meillä on
vielä vähän keskustelut kesken uudesta tapettimallista ja sen väristä... :-)
She also likes to sew and that little heart bag and that blue pillow are made by her. Our daughter also likes to read and she often borrows books from the local library but she usually brings so many books home that she doesn't really have time to read all of them... ;-)
I often tell her to take just one or two books from the library (so that she would have time to read those books) but everytime she comes home her bag is loaded with books. But well - I guess this is not a huge problem after all... It's only a good thing that the world of books and so many stories interest her.
Hän pitää myös ompelemisesta ja tuo sydänkassi ja sininen tyyny ovat hänen tekemiään. Neiti pitää myös lukemisesta ja lainaa usein monta kirjaa kirjastosta, joka yleensä tarkoittaa sitä, ettei hän ennätä lukea niistä kuin murto-osan... ;-)
Aika usein kun hän lähtee kirjastoon mainitsen vielä, että lainaisi nyt vaan yhden tai kaksi kiinnostavaa kirjaa (jotta ennättäisi lukea edes ne), mutta joka kerta kun hän tulee kirjastosta, kassi pursuaa kirjoista. Mutta nooh - eipä tämä taida olla mikään suuri ongelma... Hyvä vaan, että kirjojen ja tarinoiden maailma kiinnostaa.
And this is also the age when things like make-up and skincare start to interest.
And perfumes and Victoria's Secret items like body mists etc. And mommy sighs...
But I also have to say that our little missy is a sporty girl and all those medals
show that her soccer and floorball teams have done pretty well.
Ja tämä on myös se ikä kun meikit ja ihonhoito alkavat kiinnostamaan.
Ja tuoksut ja Victoria's Secretin tuotteet kuten tuoksusuihkeet jne. Ja äiti huokaa...
Neiti on näistä tyttöjen hömpötyksistä huolimatta kuitenkin sporttinen tapaus ja kaikki nuo mitalit kertovat,
että ihan hyvin tyttöjen jalis- ja säbäjoukkueet on myös pärjänneet.
One day she brought this cute little owl home and was so proud to show me her work.
Isn't it just adorable little thing!
Yksi päivä neiti toi kotiin tämän pienen pöllön ja esitteli niin ylpeänä tekemäänsä ompelutyötä.
Eikös olekin aika suloisen söpö!
This missy also has a little piggy bank that she has gotten from her friend as a birthday gift.
It says hupiraha that could be translated something like fun money.
And for my suprise she has so much money in that piggy that I had
trouble lifting it up today when I was wiping the dust of that table...

Neidillä on myös oma pieni säästöpossu,
jonka hän on saanut joskus ystävältään synttärilahjaksi.
Hupirahaa onkin jo jostain kummasta kertynyt niin paljon,
ettei äiti meinannut saada tänään possua ylös, kun pölyjä pyyhki...
