It's yet another Monday and on Mondays I post about my best flea market finds that I have made.
Se on taas uusi maanantai ja maanantaisin postaan tänne blogiin parhaista kirppislöydöistä, joita olen tehnyt.
I just love the storybook called Where the wild things are. I really like the illustration (and all the details used in the illustration) of the book and of course the story itself is like the imagination of a child - as lively as the main character Max's who you can also see in these pictures.
So when I saw these two at a local flea market and when I saw their price tags of 1 euro/each, I thought I better take these home with me... ;-) They are not only charming, but also the colors/patterns of the frames fit perfectly with the purple colors we have in little splashes here and there in our family room. Both these pictures already hang on our family room wall and bring joy to our home.
Minä rakastan lastenkirjaa nimeltään Where the wild things are, suomennettuna: Hassut hurjat hirviot. Minusta kirjan kuvitus (ja kaikki kuvituksen yksityiskohdat) on todella onnistunut ja satu itse kuin pienen lapsen mielikuvitus - yhtä lennokasta kuin kirjan päähahmon Maxin, jonka näet myös näissä kuvissa.
Joten kun näin nämä kaksi paikallisella kirpparilla ja kun näin niiden hintalaput 1e/kpl, ajattelin että minun taitaa olla parasta ottaa nämä mukaan kotiinvietäviksi... ;-) Ne ovat paitsi hurmaavia, niin lisäksi kehysten värit/kuvioinnit sopivat täydellisesti olohuoneessamme siellä täällä pieninä väriläiskinä oleviin violetin sävyihin. Molemmat taulut keikkuvatkin jo olohuoneen seinällä ja tuovat iloa kotiimme.
